Myself being a regular gym-goer, I take pride in working out to the best of my ability. This enables me to not only stay in shape, but to lead a healthier lifestyle. As workouts go i've found that a thorough warm up is a key element in maintaining rhythm and reducing injuring. People who might not workout on a weekly basis might need slightly longer to warm up, as their muscles aren't used to working hard. As you get more fit your body adapts - so warming up becomes a shorter process.
In terms of Cardio itself I have found that there are 5 forms you can work by, such as:
- Continuous Training
- Interval training
- Fartlek Training
- Super Circuit Training
- Cross Training
