Punta Cana was my selected destination for summer 2016. Situated on the East coast of Dominican Republic, it's a true paradise and I immediately fell in love. From the crystal clear waters, forests of palm trees and eco-life everywhere, it's a far cry from the city - but a well anticipated change.
Over the two weeks I spent in paradise, I had many experiences that will stay with me for life - from swimming with dolphins and holding starfish in the ocean, to swimming in the "Hoyo Azul".
As my first Caribbean adventure, I was not disappointed and it certainly lived up to my expectations. Year after year, I will without a doubt be returning back to the Caribbean to explore all of the islands.
